Dinky Dogs Grooming are delighted to tell you that in September 2019, we finally phased out the use of material towels to go over to a new and very eco-friendly alternative, disposable towels.

​We 1st got the idea from seeing them used in high end hairdressers and it made us research the benefits, and how it could be transferred to dog grooming.

In October 2020 we decided to use Scrummi towels (https://scrummi.com/)for their Vegan and green ethics.

​Why use disposable towels?

By using a new towel each and ever time, there is no risk of cross contamination, we feel this can only be an added bonus in these worrying times.

From Scrummi: 100% Biodegradeable: Vegan Product: We manufacture all of our own towels in the EU - No shipping products over from Asia! Last year, we were really proud to have reduced the hair and beauty industry’s impact on the environment by more than 60 MILLION litres of chemically contaminated water and 3.5 MILLION Kilograms of C02 emissions. The energy used in the entire lifecycle of a Scrummi Towel including its manufacture is 90% less than the energy used by washing machine to clean a single cotton towel.
